 Premise:

1.a. Come to Masjid prepared with wudu (ablution) from your home.

b. Bring your own musalla (prayer mat) to the Masjid. It may just be a piece of cloth, handkerchief, face towel or scarf to perform sajdah (prostration) on.

Our Protection:

3 a. Follow hand hygiene and minimise physical contact with people by avoiding handshakes and greet only with verbal Salam.

b. Bring your own tissues and keep it with yourself to dispose at home.

c. Stay away if you have fever, cold or flu symptoms

Our Prayers:

4 a. Daily Prayers:

i. We will continue to hold five daily prayers in sha Allah

ii. Try not to socialise before and after prayers in the masjid

iii.Try to perform Sunnah at home

Please beware that it is our responsibility as a Muslim to protect ourselves and our brethren from any harm. Following the directives coming from authorities will bring about help and mercy from Allah.

The masjid management committee reserves the right to ask anyone not complying with this policy to leave. This is for the safety of all musallis. We will keep the situation under daily review, and if compliance with the policy is unsatisfactory then we will need to consider other avenues.

Please remember that these measures are done to follow the sunnah of our beloved prophet (ﷺ). It is Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta’aalaa ONLY who gives life and health. We MUST repent sincerely and connect to our Lord through regular supplication and Quranic recitation. May Allah safeguard whole humanity form this serious calamity and guide us all to the right path. Aameen

Yours sincerely
